Museum Education Programme “Exhale. Space”: Contemporary Spatial Art and Form-Making in Sculpture

The Ogre History and Art Museum offers the museum education programme “Exhale. Space”, inviting participants to explore sculpture and contemporary spatial art through a practical, creative, and multisensory experience.

During the programme, participants explore space, form, materials, scale, positive and negative space, as well as the interaction between people and their environment. The programme encourages participants not only to discover and engage with art, but also to become its interpreters and creators themselves.

  • The multisensory activity “Exhale. Space” – exploring the museum space through different senses.

  • Creating a collaborative spatial composition, developing creativity, spatial thinking, and teamwork skills.

  • Work with plaster – an introduction to plaster casting techniques and the principles of form-making.
