Presenting her album “Conarium”, the unique Latvian singer and performance artist Elizabete Balčus performed at the Ogre History and Art Museum. This concert was one of the stops on her musical journey across Latvia.

Elizabete designs her concerts as mini-theatre performances. Musically, they are eclectic collages featuring electronic beats, flute improvisations, loops, toy instruments, and vocals, which, through various techniques and effects, serve both harmonious, melodic, and rhythmic functions. The performances are complemented by real-time visualizations and spontaneous acts. Elizabete Balčus is a musician, singer, and composer. She graduated from the Latvian Academy of Music with a specialization in flute, furthered her education at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome, and is also a member of the groups “Sus Dungo” and “Karaliskā dekadence”.
