Book launch celebration for Mārīte Tabita Kalniņa’s book “The Old Oak”

The book is intended for children and young readers and tells the story of a partisan, based on true events.

The event was attended by the team from Zvaigzne ABC, as well as historians and the folklore group Artava.

Guests at the book launch had the opportunity to take part in a quiz and enjoy the main character Donāts’s favorite treat—honey cake. Visitors could also purchase the book and receive a signed copy from the author.
