No. 445 of July 14, 2020, \u201cProcedures for Institutions to Publish Information Online\u201d, is committed to ensuring that the museum\u2019s website is accessible to all visitors.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"770\">This accessibility statement applies to the website of the Ogre History and Art Museum:<br data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"744\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ogresmuzejs.lv\/eng\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"768\">https:\/\/ogresmuzejs.lv\/eng<\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"772\" data-end=\"1016\">The accessibility assessment was carried out using a simplified accessibility evaluation, in accordance with the guidelines prepared by VARAM entitled \u201cGuidelines for Assessing the Impact of Compliance with Accessibility Requirements for Institutional Websites and Justifying Disproportionate Burden\u201d.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1021\">\n<h2 data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1049\">Compliance Status<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1136\">The Ogre History and Art Museum website partially complies with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 445.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1141\">\n<h2 data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1186\">Non-compliance with Accessibility Requirements<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1262\">The following accessibility issues were identified during the website evaluation:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1821\">\n<li data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1346\">\n<p data-start=\"1266\" data-end=\"1346\">Some images and icons lack discernible alternative text (ALT).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1443\">\n<p data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1443\">In certain sections of the website, colour contrast is insufficient to ensure comfortable perception.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1444\" data-end=\"1560\">\n<p data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1560\">The main navigation does not fully comply with best practice principles (for example, the accessibility of certain sub-menus).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1561\" data-end=\"1638\">\n<p data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1638\">Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators do not meet accessibility standards in some areas.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1639\" data-end=\"1740\">\n<p data-start=\"1641\" data-end=\"1740\">In some sections of the website, the heading structure is inconsistent and does not follow a clear semantic hierarchy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1741\" data-end=\"1821\">\n<p data-start=\"1743\" data-end=\"1821\">In certain cases, dynamic content cannot be stopped, paused, or otherwise controlled.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1823\" data-end=\"1989\">This website was last evaluated on November 27, 2025.  <br data-start=\"1895\" data-end=\"1898\">The evaluation was carried out by the Digital Communication Specialist of the Ogre History and Art Museum.<\/p>\n<p
