Visitors had the opportunity to experience the creative expressions of Aleksejs Naumovs, Juris Ģērmanis, Vija Dzintare, Ģirts Burvis, Jānis Strupuļs, Gunta Brakovska, Laine Kainaize, Ieva Muzikante, Velta Riekstiņa, Vita Beikerte, Sarmīte Caune, Ligita Caune, Raimonda Strode, Maira Veisbārde, Tālivaldis Muzikants, Inese Sudare, Liene Ūlande, Ziedonis Bārbalis, Vita Merca, Lauma Palmbaha and Dzintars Adienis.
Through colour, form, emotion and association, each artist offers a personal interpretation of the river Daugava. The exhibition highlights the river as one of Latvia’s most powerful and enduring symbols, inviting reflection on what it means to each of us today.
