The collection of metal and household items includes household objects such as irons, lamps, various tools, as well as medical instruments and equipment. These items were primarily donated to the museum by residents of Ogre city and its surrounding region. The collection also features instruments, equipment, and dishes from Ogre Pharmacy, the children’s sanatorium “Ogre”, the sanatorium-prophylactorium “Dzelzceļnieks”, and Ogre medical professionals (doctor Valentīns Vasiļkovs, midwife Alīda Krīgere, and dentist Alīda Grotāne).
