The collection of metal and household items comprises a wide range of everyday objects, including irons, lamps, and various tools, as well as medical instruments and equipment. These items were primarily donated to the museum by residents of the city of Ogre and its surrounding region.
The collection also includes instruments, equipment, and tableware from the Ogre Pharmacy, the children’s sanatorium “Ogre”, the sanatorium-prophylactorium “Dzelzceļnieks”, and from medical professionals in Ogre, including doctor Valentīns Vasiļkovs, midwife Alīda Krīgere, and dentist Alīda Grotāne.
