Dace Voitkevica’s Solo Exhibition “Boy, Listen!”

The History and Art Museum will open Dace Voitkevica’s solo exhibition “Boy, Listen!”

The exhibition is a personal visual story by photographer Dace Voitkeviča, featuring interactive elements about a child’s life with autism spectrum disorder. Autism spectrum limitations are sometimes invisible, but societal understanding can significantly promote support for various needs.

🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 On June 7th Ogre celebrates Family Day with a remarkable program. It is important for the Ogre History and Art Museum to engage the community in this discussion and advocate for family values, paying attention to children with special needs and their parents.

The environment of the Ogre History and Art Museum is suitable for people with functional disabilities.

🗣️ The exhibition’s author says: “Sometimes support doesn’t require much, just understanding the challenges that people with autism face daily.”

✅ The exhibition will be open for visits from June 7th until September 28. through September. On the exhibition’s opening day, admission is free.
