Ogre History and Art Museum Accessibility Statement

The Ogre History and Art Museum (OHAM), in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 445 of July 14, 2020, “Procedures for Institutions to Publish Information Online”, is committed to ensuring that the museum’s website is accessible to all visitors.

The accessibility assessment was carried out using a simplified accessibility evaluation, in accordance with the guidelines prepared by VARAM entitled “Guidelines for Assessing the Impact of Compliance with Accessibility Requirements for Institutional Websites and Justifying Disproportionate Burden”.

The following accessibility issues were identified during the website evaluation:

  • Some images and icons lack discernible alternative text (ALT).

  • In certain sections of the website, colour contrast is insufficient to ensure comfortable perception.

  • The main navigation does not fully comply with best practice principles (for example, the accessibility of certain sub-menus).

  • Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators do not meet accessibility standards in some areas.

  • In some sections of the website, the heading structure is inconsistent and does not follow a clear semantic hierarchy.

  • In certain cases, dynamic content cannot be stopped, paused, or otherwise controlled.
