These security measures are regularly reviewed and improved.

If you have agreed to receive museum news and updates, your personal data may be transferred to the email distribution service provider MailerLite Limited (Ireland).

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. If personal data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected, it will be deleted.

What personal data does OHAM process?

OHAM may process the following categories of personal data:

  • general contact information (name, surname, email address, telephone number, postal address);

  • photos, videos, and audio materials recorded on the museum’s premises and during public events;

  • video surveillance data collected on the museum’s premises for the purpose of ensuring building security;

  • information related to the museum’s partners (for example, artists, historians, and event organisers), including education, employment, professional activities, and other professional data;

  • usernames, access credentials, IP addresses, and traffic data available within the museum’s information systems (for analytical and security purposes);

  • information about user activity obtained through cookies used on the museum’s website.

To ensure the protection of personal data, the museum applies encryption, firewalls, and other appropriate data security measures.

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. Museum staff receive regular training in accordance with data protection requirements.

Data processing related to museum functions

In accordance with regulatory acts governing museum operations, OHAM may collect and process data relating to individuals contained in the museum’s document archive and museum collection for the purposes of scientific research, historical documentation, and statistical analysis.

Museum staff may be required to identify individuals in certain situations (for example, when applying special discounts or issuing inventory during events) to ensure accurate service provision and the protection of museum property.

Public museum events may be photographed and filmed to inform the public about the museum’s activities.
